Bishop Matthew Porter, Bishop of Bolton, commissioned Michelle Delaney as an Evangelist and Church Leader for Connect Church, as they held their first official meeting at Costa Coffee in central Oldham, in the ODEON building.

As well as St Philip's Chapel Street, thanks also to our colleagues in the wider The Diocese of Manchester and Church of England Commissioners for their support.

After the event at which we heard powerful stories of lives being changes by the Gospel, and at which Bishop Matthew preached, Michelle confirmed that 2 x new people prayed to became Christians on the night!

What people say...
Since being part of church I’ve got people I can rely on, they are my family. Jesus has done that for me and he’s been there even when I haven’t known him.
